14 children at the grocery store was a new experience for me! Ms. Tami, Miss Maggie and I took the kiddos to Smiths yesterday and raided the baking ingredient aisle! We spent $240 and came back to PHA with loads of ingredients to donate. Ms. Tami had a wonderful idea to use the leftover money at our school's Scholastic book fair to choose books to take the the Children's Home too. AWESOME! Each child chose a book they felt was interesting and we threw some extras in also. We now have $.58 left and the kiddos feel pretty proud! Way to go 2nd grade! We'll deliver on Tuesday.
